Note2: calibration of more elements is available upon request
Note3: each calibration consumes about 1 ml standard oil or less

Running Cost per Sample

Each sample or calibration consumes a flat electrode. Currently, the flat electrode is shipped from China. With current currency exchange rate, the price is $0.89 ea, plus shipping and handling fees.
The rod electrode is consumed as in a regular RDE oil analyzer.

Consumption of standard oil:

Made by cutting-edge technology, COA oil and grease analyzer is a very stable analyzer. Though users can run routine calibrations as recommended, the calibrations do not affect results too much. Thus many users do not run daily calibrations, which cuts the cost on consumables.

In general, the cost of testing a sample is about $2, also depending sample volume.
