Consumables

Electrodes:
Upper: regular rod graphite electrode for RDE, max length allowed: 150 mm
Lower: flat graphite electrode
Calibration standards (ppm by weight):
1) 21 or 21+K (50 or 100);
2) MA4 (Ca 5000, P, Mg, Zn: 1600);
3) Blank oil.
4) (Optional) Li: 1000 ppm, user de-selectable on User Interface;
Note1: all standard oils are available from common vendors
http://www.scpscience.com: stardard oil and rod electrodes
http://www.lgcstandards.com: stardard oil only
Note2: calibration of more elements is available upon request
Note3: each calibration consumes about 1 ml standard oil or less

Sample Economy

Each sample or calibration consumes a flat electrode. Currently, the flat electrode is shipped from China. With current currency exchange rate, the price is $0.79 ea, plus shipping and handling fees.
The rod electrode is consumed as in a regular RDE oil analyzer.

Consumption of standard oil:
Made by cutting-edge technology, COA oil and grease analyzer is a very stable analyzer. Though users can run routine calibrations as recommended, the calibrations do not affect results too much. Thus many users do not run daily calibrations, which cuts the cost on consumables.

In general, the cost of testing a sample is about $1, also depending sample volume.

Software

All software is distributed or upgraded via email or a CD-ROM, and runs on a personal computer. In order to utilize small CCD spectrometers to detect wear metals, CYCP Oil Analyzers LLC has developed the most sophisticated software in this industry to pick up 22 and more elements from heavy noise-corrupted OES signals. No other OES oil analyzer manufacturers in the world can achieve this in a portable on-site oil analyzer.

CYCP Oil Analyzers LLC also has a set of sophisticated software for remote instrument troubleshooting. A unique feature is that, you do not need an internet connection to your analyzer. Without a physical network, we can still figure out what might have gone wrong and remotely modify instrumental parameters if necessary. Is that fanny?

Multi-Language Support

COA instrumental user interface and analytical reports support all languages in the world. Customers themselves can switch the original English user interfaces to other languages (An example of different language user interface). So does for report.

COA instrumental software is free for all potential customers!

Remote Services

COA analyzers are designed to be supported remotely without having to use internet connections. Users can email certain files upon our instructions for troubleshooting purpose. Software upgrades are also accomplished via email.
