Lithium Analysis for Grease

In September, 2014, COA released its trial version of Graphic User Interface (GUI) for including lithium analysis. The GUI gives user an option to standardize and report lithium. This was urgently requested by a lab that had strong market demand for analyzing lithium based grease. After several month trials, COA is informed that the lab has set SFE as its standard method for testing various grease samples. COA is pleased to learn its novel analyzer has expanded customers’ services in the market of oil analysis.

The GUI is flexible. Users have three modes with lithium: (1) disable it, (2) enable it but only standardize it once, and (3) enable and standardize it in every standardization cycle. Mode (2) is most cost-effective because lithium can be reported but does not need to be standardized every time, which saves expensive oil standard. The stable performance of COA Model 126 makes it possible to give good lithium result w/o standardizing it each time.

The new GUI is free to all COA customers. The customers can upgrade their software via email. For details, please contact COA.
